What kind of technology do I need to participate in the program?
The program is 100% virtual so you need a computer with good internet.
How many hours is the entire program?
Around 40 hours. More or less 15 hours of content plus 25 hours of practical experience (which some people do it faster, some people do it slower - it all depends on you)
Are there mandatory meetings or exact hours that I must attend the program?
No, the program is fully paced by you or your team (unless your school has a different settings). We do offer office hours between 9am to 7pm EST, so for that you need to show up at any of these times.
What form of payments do you offer?
We take credit cards, cash, and wire transfers. For fast-paced programs (e.g. summer camp), payment must be done in full prior to the beginning of the program. For the traditional year round program, payment can be done monthly.
What is included in the price?
Only the tuition of our program. We currently do not cover the cost of any external software, online service, or digital asset that you are exposed to and choose to use while building your idea with us.
Can I start program at any time of the year?
Absolutely.
Is the program only for teenagers?
No, anyone is welcome to apply, but the program is more tailored for young adults.
Is there a selection process for the academy?
Everyone is welcome to apply and we believe everyone has what it takes to change the world. However, we do have a selection process, and only people who demonstrate a great level of commitment to the program are invite to participate. Remember, we are a high-performance academy, so in order for us to work with you, you must show that you are willing to do whatever it takes to make your idea come true.
Am I going to have the opportunity to pitch my idea to investors at the end of the program?
Not yet. For now, the Academy is an educational program with the purpose to help you launch your impact idea in the fastest and most cost effective way possible.
